Cadwalladers Ice Cream, Stoke on Trent

The rising energy prices were a concern for the owners of Cadwalladers Ice Cream. When they opened their new ice cream parlour in Trentham Gardens, Stoke on Trent, they wanted to make sure the display cabinets, ice cream making equipment and freezers were as efficient and cost-effective as possible.

The system we designed, commissioned and installed, makes the most of the technology available today. The central remote refrigeration system, runs all refrigerators and freezer display cabinets in the ice cream parlour and preparation area and was selected for its energy efficient engineering. The heat removed from the refrigeration system, which would otherwise be released into the atmosphere, is used to heat the hot water supply for the shop – saving energy and reducing heating bills.
