Aconbury Sprouts distribute their product throughout the UK and Ireland in health, organic and farm shops, Holland & Barrett, selected branches of Waitrose and ASDA.
Due to expansion they took on a larger production unit close to their existing premises in Pontrilas. We carried out the installation of refrigeration equipment in their large 250m³ coldstore and their packing facility which had to be temperature controlled to a constant 10C. We also carried out the installation of refrigeration equipment in their production area, which needed to be kept at a constant 15C to create optimum growing conditions. To achieve this split temperature requirement we used a ventilation system.
